Once you arrive, you will have 1 hour and 20 minutes on the mountain with your photographer, including photos with the helicopter when permitted by your pilot. How long is the experience?
The experience is two hours: a 20-minute outbound flight, 1 hour and 20 minutes on the mountain, and a 20-minute return flight.
Is the flight private?
Yes. The flight is private for your group and the pilot.
Can our photographer come?
Yes. The R44 accommodates a couple and photographer. The EC120 accommodates up to four guests, subject to the combined weight limit and the pilot's final approval.
Can we photograph the helicopter?
Yes, when your pilot permits it. Follow all crew instructions around the aircraft.
Is photography included?
No. Bring your own photographer or videographer.
What should we wear?
Dress in layers, wear suitable closed-toe shoes, and secure veils or other loose items. Temperatures can be cooler at altitude.

What are the weight limits?
The R44 combined limit is 227 kg (500 lb), and the EC120 combined limit is 272 kg (600 lb). These totals include every passenger, wedding attire, camera equipment, and personal belongings. Individual weights are requested after booking, and the pilot confirms safe loading.
What happens if the weather changes?
Flights are subject to weather and operational conditions, including rain, wind, low visibility, storm conditions, and wildfire response deployments. L R Helicopters will contact you as early as possible if your flight needs to be rescheduled or cancelled.
What is the cancellation policy?
You may cancel up to 24 hours before your scheduled flight for a full refund. Flights cancelled by L R Helicopters due to weather, wildfire deployment, or safety issues will receive a full refund. To cancel, email info@lrhelicopters.ca with your name and booking reference.
