Avalanche Control

L R HELICOPTERS provide avalanche control services for customers such as Jasper National Parks, Kananaskis and Canadian Pacific. This is a technically demanding role which requires a high level of skill from the pilot and crew, in order to successfully accomplish the task in what can be a hostile environment.

Environmental and Parks

L R HELICOPTERS provides a variety of services for Alberta Government which include park maintenance, wildlife survey and trail maintenance. These services are vital to maintaining and enhancing the parks provision for both environmental balance and public enjoyment.

Fish and Wild life management

L R HELICOPTERS provides a variety of services for Alberta Government which include fish and wildlife management. Maintain the environmental balance for fish including maintain stock levels and providing a suitable habitat for sustaining wild animals, is vital in maintaining the parks provision and environmental balance.

Wild Fires Operations

Fighting wild fires is just one aspect of wild fire operations. There is a network of support such as the opening and closing of look out towers and surveys at critical times, all of which are necessary, in order to suppress wild fires in the early stages or even prevent there occurrence.
